Horton Heat packs 'em in down here, so I am sure they would be appreciated. If you could whine at them during the show to come down south, it would be much appreciated!

This is the very first time they've played in Seattle, so who knows how they'll do. But I bet they'll do fine. juliebata has seen them many times in Madison.

You've never experienced the wonder of a true Christmas pageant until you've seen four middle-aged men in fashionable green turtle-necks and Mexican wrestler masks, performing surf-styled holiday tunes accompanied by three heavily tattooed young women wearing white go-go boots and tinsel bikinis. Nope, you just haven't.....

Have you guy bought tickets yet? This sounds like it might be a good alternative to Santarchy and Seacompression...both of which I'm thinking of avoiding this year.

It didn't look like there were advance ticket sales, at least from what I could tell from the website. Santarchy and Seacompression are the same night? Sheesh! But we'll be there come hell or high water -- Julie's seen Los Straitjackets several times.

I'm seriously debating this. I want to do Santarchy, which is in Ballard that evening, but still dread seeing the ex. Bah.

Of course, I'm also working that day, so maybe I wouldn't have energy for both anyways.

I've never seen them myself, so I can't promise anything, honestly. However, Julie offered to reimburse your ticket if you weren't completely satisfied. And, to show what she thinks of this show, she reverently showed me a sequin that came off the costume of one of the Pontani Sisters from when she saw them last year in Madison.
