Blue eyed darner (Aeshna multicolor) hovering

Female common green darner (Anax junius)

This ID is tentative.
Both:
Theler Wetlands, Belfair, WA
August, 2009
On the spur of the moment, Julie and I dashed off to the Mary E. Theler Wetlands yesterday afternoon, to see what there was to see. There are a few more pictures to come, in the fullness of time. At least of a cabbage white butterfly (I know, very common) and some fledgling swallows being fed.
