Ballard Blossom

Today I bought a ladder to use for taking pictures of neon. It gives me a little extra height to get more even with the image.

I took quite a few more pictures of neon, along Market to 24th Ave NW, then up 24th to 65th St., then east on 65th to about 5th. I'll be uploading more of them tomorrow.

Cleaning with Sparkle

I just love this sign. There's a nonironic self effacing smile behind its apparent brag.¹

So last night's photo expedition to Ballard was lots of fun. Drive a couple blocks, park, take a bunch of pictures, drive another couple blocks, repeat. I got the ladder out a couple times, and will get more comfortable with it as time goes on. Maybe I'll go to the Roosevelt District tonight. Yeah! Or maybe I'll get lots of theatre marquees, now that I have the ladder. Anyway, here are links to some of the new galleries I've created under Neon, with the number of images they currently contain:
