May. 4th, 2007 07:35 amFour prints from the Crane Constructions series will be in the Urban Wildlife show at Ouch My Eye studios. These prints were previously exhibited at the Real Networks Spring Show.
From the Call For Artists:
The Second Annual Urban Wildlife show will be a big one at Ouch My Eye Studio. This show takes the modern "urban" world that we live in and looks at it as a wild environment.
What would be the most ridiculous part of our culture (or lack thereof) that we take for granted? This show is about the things that we see but never pay attention to. What are the endangered species of Belltown, Queen Anne,Tacoma, and Bellevue?
Urban Wildlife
Opening: Friday, May 4, 8 p.m., 21+
Through Memorial Day weekend.

CRANE CONSTRUCTIONS
Continuing the Hockneyesque composite technique from the Graffiti Mosaics series, Crane Constructions looks at the construction cranes that so frequently dot our horizon. Combining in-camera and digital composition techniques, the finished prints range in size from 42"w x 46"h to 27"w x 103"h.
