Wow, was Nathan's mullet consciously intended to so closely echo Topper's coif do you think?

No, I don't think so. He'd had a baseball cap on until just before taking the picture.

Does everyone in this building have a pet?

No. I guess it seems like it. ;> There are a couple hundred residents, I think -- it's ten stories, and there are about twenty units on each floor. It was originally built as a luxury hotel, and the rooms are small, because they were designed before television.

Television made rooms bigger?

I've never read somebody saying that, but when I stayed in a hotel built before television (in San Francisco) I was struck by how small the rooms were, and how large the corridors were. The idea being that before television, people spent more time in the coffeshop, bar, or public areas of the hotel. After television, they spent their time in the room, watching TV, and the room had to be designed larger to accomodate the TV and its furniture.

I find this interesting...and funny, as it pretty much describes my house, too.

I want Apollo to come live with me. He could herd the cats and give them stern warnings when they get out of hand!

I don't think he'd be as patient as the dog in baaaaaabyanimals, but he DOES live with a cat.
