The day started out pretty lousy but ended well.

I didn't get to sleep until after dawn this morning, and then I was beset with stressful humiliation dreams.

I was able to get dinner going, though, slow-cooker beef stroganoff.

I'd finished up a project for plant class last night and emailed it off; and then this afternoon saw that I'd promised to hand it in, not email it. So I had to go to school. I was still a little down, and was dreading the trip, but it turned out well. I talked with the teacher for a bit, ran into a student I like talking with, avoided another I don't like talking with, got the book for next quarter, and generally felt like it was worth it.

Back home, Julie and I spent about an hour (she spent longer) putting magentic poetry words onto the hood of her car, which for the purposes of the Seattle Art Car Blowout, will be "A Fridge Too Far." She has a good plan for it, and I think the results will be pretty good. Especially if most of the magnets remain in place once we get up to speed. The hood of the car is meant to be interactive, she even left a good hole in the middle for people to make poetry.

Then we had dinner, which was rated a hit by all and sundry. (I think this is the first meal I've cooked in quite a while, what with school and all.)

Then we repaired to our separate parts of the house. I did some schoolwork, which I'll email in tomorrow and then I'll be done for really real.

But for now, nothing much.
