What is up with this naming scheme?

In descending rank order, the females were Bokassa, Somoza, Amin, Franco, Duvalier, Marcos, and Pinochet.

And what does it say about the researchers that they name female vervet monkeys after male dictators? Hah!

I worked with a guy who used to be an animal technician at Yerkes. He said that a ten-pound monkey was a match for a 200-pound man. I think that's why the names.
