Dude, overall, I really dig your photomosiacs. You've managed to turn this into your own thing and your photography has come a long way from what it was when you started out.
I'm just curious, though, as to why you don't lock your exposure when shooting a mosiac? In my opinion, this type of image would be greatly improved by first carefully metering the overall scene and selecting the best exposure and then lock it in (or switch to manual) so that both the subject and the background hold the same values throughout each frame and individual frame overlaps become unobtrusive. Unless, that is your intent.
Making the frames obvious is definitely part of my intent with the graffiti mosaics. But your comment prompts me to ask myself whether that works with the construction cranes. I should try some smooth and see what it looks like.
