I got up to go to a cruise disembarkation.

Then, I took a nap.

Then, I looked through the photos.

Then, I took a nap.

Then I went to have a very pleasant, tasty, and filling dinner with [livejournal.com profile] bonvogue and [livejournal.com profile] mrhorrible.

Now, I will take a nap.

Note to self: You'd think you'd know not to let your thyroid medicine lapse between prescriptions after all these years, wouldn't you?

I love naps.

My doctors have told me to expect to take thyroid medicine someday. They diagnosed me with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (http://www.4woman.gov/faq/hashimoto.htm) (big fat thyroid) a few years ago. At which point all the thyroid problems in my family came to surface (Grandma, plus an aunt with Lupus). Thanks folks! Why can't families make a chart of all this stuff so you will know what to expect? It was the same thing when I came down with eczema. Surprise! Bah!

One nap a day is a pleasant luxury. Never quite waking up and never quite falling solidly asleep is a little annoying. Sigh.

My doctor told me the name of my condition, but I forgot it. Basically, my immune system is attacking my thyroid over time.

Yeah, I think families should know about each other's health problems. That would be nice, wouldn't it? Hah!
