Wow!! I especially love the orange giraffe(?) with the bulging eyes.
This makes me homesick for the In the Heart of the Beast Mayday parade & festival in Minneapolis. Sigh.

There's been some cross-culture communication between the two groups over the years. I think the pageant (which I've never seen but is growing over the years) at the end of the parade takes a lot of inspiration from Heart of the Beast.
