I love the way the light is pooled in the foreground and how the tree branch draws the eye up and across, stopping at the apex of a triangle and immediately dropping the eye/focus into the center vortex. The colors and textures have balance and clarity, the branch is starkly compelling, and I find the vibrancy of the green somewhat mesmerizing. The overall mood is both life-affirming and somewhat ominous/foreboding/unsettling.
