I'll bet there's a conversation with someone that preceeds this. The answer I think would be no. No more than average. You don't climb on a soap box on a regular basis and declaim. Those are the people that get links from other pages and have lots of folks show up to either agree or disagree.
Now it can be told: You are correct to guess that there was a conversation that preceded that post. However, it ended with "I wonder if people would comment if I posted asking if I got a lot of comments." Or something recursive like that.
Thanks for your answer, in any case. In the day when I read LJ more thoroughly, and commented in other people's journals more regularly, I got more comments. There's a correlation there, methinks.
Well I know with this LJ thing that people sometimes get to feeling like they're talking to themselves. Sometimes you just want evidence of readership. I'll accommodate when people ask nice.
