Yesterday morning, I drove up Aurora. I got as far as 160th, in Shoreline. Stopping every two blocks or so to walk up and down and take pictures of the signs. It was nice, I haven't driven around taking photos in a while.

Interesting that both these signs use a drum-shaped sign. Must have been all the rage at some point. The top one almost looks like theater lights.

Even after working on them, I hadn't noticed that coincidence before. I think it was part of the appeal to me, their old-fashionedness that way, and why I picked them out of all the other. Thanks!
