Hmmmm, good eye. The previous version was processed with the Nikon software. I cropped tighter onto the crow, and left the contrast alone.

This version was processed with Photoshop. I cropped it less and lowered the contrast to get more gray.

Looking at them both now, I agree with you that the earlier version is better. Yeah!
