There's a famous picture published just after the end of World War II. It shows two young children (boy, about three; girl, about five) emerging from a shaded copse into a sunny garden. The viewpoint is from inside the copse.
I feel like this is the other end of that picture.
Boy, that's putting on airs, as me sainted mum were wont to say.
